Colourless glass decanter with a rectangular base and a round stoppered neck. The front of the decanter features an engraved inscription, All Saints Church, Northampton below an engraved depiction of the church. There are further inscriptions on both sides of the decanter, 'To mark THE INTERNATIONAL YEAR OF DISABLED PEOPLE 1981' and 'Presented to J. SAINSBURY LTD. by NORTHAMPTON & COUNTY ASSOCIATION FOR THE BLIND'.
The stopper also features an engraved inscription, 'J.S.'.
