The cup is mounted on a two-tier, rectangular, varnished wooden stand. A plastic plate attached to the front of the upper tier bears the recessed inscription, 'D.A. MALES TROPHY FOR INTER AREA COMPETITION'.
Two gold-coloured plastic eagles are attached to the lower tier, one on each side of the cup.
