Varnished wooden shield with a metal plate in the shape of a banner at the top engraved with the following inscription, 'S S A LADIES DARTS'. There is a metal plate at the centre with a stamped design including garlands of leaves, chains and scrolls; an engraved inscription, 'CHAMPIONSHIP SHIELD' and a centre disc depicting a dartboard.
There are seven metal plates around the edge of the wooden shield, one of which is inscribed with a winners' name and date.
There is a hinged wooden stand attached to the reverse of the shield with a sticker giving the name ('MAGPIES NEST') and contact details of the shield supplier.
