Blue painted iron stapler. Trapezium shaped base with two black plastic feet. Stapling arm attached with a hinge to the narrow end of the base. Round silver coloured button at top of stapling arm. Inscription on button, 'VANGUARD TYPE NO 4 A MADE IN ENGLAND'. Used for fastening papers together.
