Blackfriars area photographs, slides and transparencies

Includes black and white photographs of different buildings and streets e.g. New Bridge Street, St Paul's Cathedral.

Also includes black and white photographs of a firework display.

Also contains black and white photographs of an archaeological excavation of a ship in 1963 (see JS Journal article, September 1963), and a black and white photograph of a set of three clay pots (SA/BL/2/1). It is not known if the pots were found in the ship or at another site.

Blackfriars was the area of Sainsbury's head offices, depots and factories in London.
