Sausage production images

Photograph of sausage filling and linking in Blackfriars factory, 1955

The factory, which was located close to Sainsbury's head offices on Stamford Street was where Sainsbury's pies and sausages were produced. It opened in 1934 but closed in 1972 and was converted into offices for the company (Rennie House). For further details see the linked authority entry.
