CIES (Food Business Forum) 1984 conference neck tie

Navy blue polyester neck tie with a single orange 'CIES' globe logo on a plain navy diagonal band at the centre front and a repeated design consisting of a diagonal woven inscription, 'CIES'. The tie has a lining of maroon polyester bearing the makers name, 'Interlogo London' and is still in its original packaging; a colourless plastic sleeve. There is a handwritten label on the outside of the packaging indicating that the tie was given away as part of the CIES conference held in Athens on 10th June 1984. The CIES is a food business forum for global food retailers and suppliers.
