Report (with attached covering memorandum) which gives key dates and store specifications for projects on the new store and existing store opening programmes for 1998/99 and 1999/2000. The document was sent by the Internal Communications Executive of the Property Affairs Department to certain people within the company and was confidential.
For new stores it includes: information such as number of parking spaces for each store, proposed construction/opening dates, and initials of the development surveyor and project manager for the store (which can be cross-referenced to the contacts list at the back). The new store programme includes stores already under construction or where construction was due to start soon, and proposed stores which had not yet been confirmed and the status for these is indicated as 'relatively certain' and 'less certain'. Some of those stores were never built. For existing stores it gives data on the sales area extension, information on whether the work has been approved, start and handover dates, and the initials of the planner and project manager.
