Border tile with a narrow band of coloured turquoise crackle glaze over a machine pressed relief abstract design and a wide band of coloured teapot brown glaze over a flat base. This rectangular wall tile came from the Sainsbury's branch built at Reigate in 1925 and is in the Sainsbury's house style that predominated from the 1890s to the late 1940s.
