Special Bulletin 313/84 "Carry Out Bags"

Bulletin about carry out bags being offered to customers who spend more than £20 from 10th December. The bulletin also explains that existing carrier bags (plastic, paper and paper freezer sacks) will still be available for purchase (for 4p) by customers but the paper carrier bags will be discontinued once current stocks are exhausted. The small brown paper checkout bags would also be discontinued once stocks were exhausted. This bulletin however appears to have only been distributed to 17 branches which are listed (with figures for the expected weekly usage of bags at each branch) so it is unclear whether it applied to those branches only.
