"Make The Difference: Day One - Bag for Life" video

Video showing a scheme to give Islington branch customers reusable bags for life for free on one day, to help them use fewer disposable plastic carrier bags.

Video begins with opening sequence showing bags for life at checkouts and in trolleys, followed by title onscreen "Make The Difference: Day one - Bag for Life for Free Day, 27th April 2007, Islington store". Customer director Gwyn Burr introduces the concept of "Make the Difference Days", a monthly day of working with customers on one of five corporate responsibility issues, and gives details about the bags and media coverage. Includes clips of interviews with customers praising the scheme, and footage of staff and customers using the bags at checkouts in Islington branch (presumably 41 Liverpool Road, Islington branch) and possibly Cromwell Road, Kensington, based on credits. Video ends with Gwyn Burr evaluating the scheme two weeks later, followed by messages onscreen "Thanks to all of our colleagues at Islington and Cromwell Road [Kensington] stores for their help in making this video." and "Day two, Tuesday 29th May 2007, In your store!"
