Memoranda sent by the Store Planning & Display department to various people in Sainsbury's. This included the manager of the branch concerned, staff in the area office covering that branch, managers at depots, and various managers and departments at head office.

These are updates on new branch openings, and amendments to the categories of products being sold at stores.

The branch opening memoranda include names of the management team, list of distribution groups (which categories of products were sold at the store), names of depots which supplied the store, contact details and opening programme (dates of handover, first deliveries, public opening etc).

A checkout change memorandum for Debden 9 Feb 1990 is also included.
