Memoranda sent by the Store Planning & Display or Branch Administration departments to various people in Sainsbury's.
These are updates on new branch openings, amendments to the categories of products being sold at stores, and branch closures.
The branch opening memoranda include names of the management team, list of distribution groups (which categories of products were sold at the store), names of depots which supplied the store, contact details and opening programme (dates of handover, first deliveries, public opening etc).
The branch closing memoranda include various instructions on the procedures to be followed for example in dealing with stock and documents held at the store.
These appear to have have been distributed with the Daily Bulletin (see SA/BRA/3/1/2/1).
