Illustrated Newspaper advert from The Folkestone Herald, 24th April, 1913. Black and white pen and ink illustration of a bride and groom in the church aisle. 'Nuts & Milk' is written on the arch in the middle (behind and over their heads), and 'The Union Of the Day'. 'Mr & Mrs Doubleweight' is written underneath the picture of the couple, followed by a rhyme 'Nuts and Milk Make Margarine'. 'J. Sainsbury sells The Very Best 1/- Doubleweight. J. Sainsbury for Quality and Value'.

Photograph (postcard) of window display promoting margarine, and also butter and cocoa. The poster of "The Union of the Day" was much used then to publicise the offer of "Double Weight" Nuts & Milk when a pound of margarine was given away with every pound sold. Postcard embossed "Vincent, Uxbridge Road, Hanwell, W.". Image included in 'JS Journal' September 1978 page 24.
