When the store first opened, we trialled a staff & visitor entrance, which was manned by a receptionist. This is a picture of Pat the receptionist. The store switchboard was also located here. There was also a staff shop with epos till, and an area selling reduced items. The reception was discontinued from around 1998/99. the entrance was turned into a fire exit, and the shop turned into storage area.
