The article notes that "Basildon... is the first supermarket in Europe to operate with a totally 'ozone-benign' refrigerant. The store can claim to be Sainsbury's 'greenest' supermarket and represents a major step forward in the company's programme to eliminate all ozone-depleting substances from its operations. The new refrigerant is called KLEA 134a and is manufactured by ICI".
