Image of phoenix picture in staff restaurant at Westhampnett Road, Chichester (1994-) branch

Photograph of a picture in the staff restaurant at the new Westhampnett Road, Chichester branch. The picture depicts the mythical phoenix rising from the flames - an analogy to the branch which was destroyed in a fire in December 1993 and a new store was built on the site. The picture also depicts the old store on the bottom left and the new store on the bottom right. According to a note on the back it was by June Nelson-Tomsen, a local artist and was paid for by staff. The picture appears in 'JS Journal' November 1994 page 12.
