Photograph showing number 73 South End, Croydon, formerly a Sainsbury's branch. The branch had closed in 1965, but some of the features which date back to when the building was a Sainsbury's branch were still present including the wall tiling. At the time the photograph was taken, it was in use as a cafe bar. Shows stained glass with coat of arms design with the motto "perserverantia vinco". It is unclear if this relates to Sainsbury's or was a feature added after the branch's closure.
