The picture relates to a story reported in JS Journal April 1993 (page 6). The article reported that "When a terrorist bomb exploded in Camden High Street on February 27, the first the branch's first aiders knew of it was when dazed and injured shoppers wandered in needing help. Jackie Robinson, store instructor, explains: 'Anne (Anne Murray, chief display assistant) and I got a call while we were at lunch from the shopfloor to say there were three children and some adults needing help in the foyer. One child got a cut on her leg as her father tried to shield her from the explosion and a 28 year old lady, who had been near the blast, was shaking.' Adds Anne, 'We called an ambulance for her. We kept her warm with a blanket and comforted her and kept the children occupied with sweets and piggy-back rides.' Jackie continues, 'It was mayhem outside. The police cordoned off the road while the store continued serving the customers inside.' And Ann concludes: 'It was a harrowing day, particularly because we were worried for local family and friends.'"
