This only includes photographs taken after 1994 when the store was converted to the Sainsbury's Central format. A store on the site had originally opened in 1976 under the standard Sainsbury's format (see SA/BRA/7/E/14/1), but when it reopened under the Sainsbury's Central format it was counted as a new store and given a new store number. The Sainsbury's Central format was later discontinued and the store once again came under the regular Sainsbury's fascia.
