Image of 2 Canal Way, Ladbroke Grove branch: staff planting tree next to petrol station

Photograph showing staff outside the petrol station at Sainsbury's Ladbroke Grove branch (at 2 Canal Way, in Kensal Green, London). A similar picture appears in JS Journal March 1988 with an article "Warm spring sunshine welcomed store manager, David Robb and six of his staff onto the site of the new Ladbroke Grove store on February 15. The store isn't due to open until March 15, but David took the opportunity afforded by the fine weather to lead his group through a maze of cranes and bulldozers to plant a tree in front of the petrol filling station. The recent heavy rain, and builders working overhead, made hard hats and Wellingtons essential, but planting was quickly completed, followed by a tour of the site".
