The photo shows a member of staff undergoing training at the checkout. The audiovisual system for training using 'La Belle Commpak' cartridges is being used - the large black box on the till belt being watched by the trainee is the projector unit (it appears to be a La Belle Duo 16), and behind it are the blue packets which contain the training cartridges.
