The script of an episode of 'The Return of the Saint' demanded that a JS store be saved from destruction by a vacillating baddie who'd left a bomb there. The film crew above were recording actor George Cole's attempt to remove the device before it spoilt the star of the shopping centre—JS's Watford branch". In the windows are advertising posters "Super Saves for Super Shoppers", "Special Value This Week" with offers on New Zealand lamb, and "Discount Prices".
