Amateur video footage (presumably filmed by a member of staff) showing Sainsbury’s staff doing a charity tandem bike ride, dressed in fancy dress.

The 150 mile bike ride from St Barts [Hospital] to Romsey (via Sunbury, Camberley, Basingstoke and Winchester) raised money for the Leonora Children’s Cancer Fund.

The footage includes staff going through a store (Cromwell Road?); staff setting off from Cromwell Road, London store; inside a store; staff raising money outside Eden Walk, Kingston store; outside Walton-on-Thames (11-15 Bridge Street) store; outside Hampton branch with male branch manager dressed up as Miss JS [see JS Journal Nov 1993, page 27].
