"Sainsbury's conference tape 1" video

Video containing footage of J. Sainsbury plc group chief executive Dino Adriano at the Sainsbury's "One Company One Agenda" convention, held in Brighton on 9-10 February 1999. The footage has been roughly edited so parts of Adriano's speech are missing and he is often cut off mid-sentence.

The footage begins with Dino Adriano being fitted with a microphone and being interviewed by Sainsbury's business television presenter John Howard about the convention. Adriano then inspects the catering arrangements and talks to staff. He enters the auditorium while an introductory video is playing and then addresses the audience, explaining the importance of the convention and the "Customer Needs and Values" ("CNVs") and welcoming attendees.
