Folder of various papers relating to visits by investors to Calcot, Cromwell Road, Dulwich, Enfield and Letchworth stores.
The folder mostly relates to a City analysts visit on 12 April 1995 to Sainsbury's Cromwell Road store and Savacentre Calcot store. The visit aimed to show "the potential for improving trade at existing stores through extensions and refurbishments", and "demonstrate our continued innovation in the development of new products...and in new trading initiatives". Various papers are included relating to the stores and the store alteration programme. These include copies of handouts given to the analysts, correspondence about the visit, internal documents detailing the plans for the store alteration programme for 1995/96, and printouts of financial reports about the performance of Cromwell Road store.
There are also some papers about a visit by Japanese institutional investors hosted by Daiwa Europe Ltd to Dulwich store on 21 June 1992, a memorandum about a visit by the Fund Manager of United Friendly to Enfield store on 18 January 1994, and a memorandum about a visit by analysts from Credit Lyonnais Laing to Letchworth store on 22 April 1993.
