"Try something new" Winter 2008/2009 booklet

Winter issue of "Try Something New" promoting food and drink available at Sainsbury's for winter 2008/2009. The booklet was produced by Seven Squared on behalf of Sainsbury's Supermarkets Ltd.

The booklet is divided into the following sections:
"It's so hot chocolate right now" - advertisement for The Skinny Cow.
"Welcome..." - introduction and contents.
"Love your leftovers" - recipes for using up leftover food (very veggie soup; chicken & pesto pasties; cheesy vegetable bake; sausage & courgette pasta; ham & pepper pizza; banana, bread & custard pudding).
"Salmon with a twist" - promotes Sainsbury's Skinless and Boneless Wild Canadian Pacific Red Salmon; recipe for Thai salmon fishcakes with sweet chilli and mango dip.
"Switch and save with our basics range" - promotes Sainsbury's Basics range; recipes (chunky beef casserole; cinnamon poached fruit salad).
"New instore" - promotes new products including: paella; Freefrom chocolate chip cookies; Cornish sardines (at fish counter); winning beers from Sainsbury's beer competition.
"Keeping it lean" - healthy recipes (ginger pork stir-fry with black bean sauce; warm steak salad with yogurt dressing; spicy turkey curry).
"Winter warmers" - comfort food recipes (caramelised sausages & apples with cider sauce; rustic Italian stew; creamy root vegetable mash; bacon & mushroom pasta bake; mango & ginger crumble); promotes ready meals and puddings.

"The expert's choice" - wine expert Matt Skinner's top three value-for-money Sainsbury's wines.
"Smart toast" - promotes Kingsmill 50/50 and Kingsmill Tasty Wholemeal bread.
"Now in season" - promotes parsnips; recipe for parsnip, potato & spinach gratin.
"Farming for life" - article about the environmental work done by two of Sainsbury's suppliers: Allpress Farms and RB Organic.
"Ricola your natural choice" - advertisement for Ricola herbal sweets.
"Pancake party time" - recipe for lovely fluffy pancakes; promotes Sainsbury's Woodland free-range eggs.
"Over 120 years of pasta perfection" - advertisement for De Cecco pasta.
"Two's company" - promotes Sainsbury's Taste the Difference Caramel Hearts and Cava Rosé Brut; recipe for chocolate martini.
"A better deal for pigs" - about anilmal welfare, Sainsbury's range of Freedom Food endorsed pork and Taste the Difference Woodland British Free Range Chicken; features "Our Values Make Us Different" branding.
"Full of goodness" - promotes lesser-known species of fish like pollack, basa and mackerel; recipes (easy smoked mackerel kedgeree; spicy Asian fish soup).
"Save on broadband, digital TV and home phone" - promotes Sainsbury's Compare and Save service (in association with Simplify Digital).
"Beauty zone" - promotes Sainsbury's Free Zone spot-fighting range.
"Loans: Decision in minutes" - advertisement for Sainsbury's Bank loans.
