Summer issue of "Try Something New" booklet promoting food and drink available at Sainsbury's during Summer 2009 including new and seasonal products. The booklet was produced by Seven Squared on behalf of Sainsbury's Supermarkets Ltd.
The booklet is divided into the following sections:
"Summer Special! Free £50 Gift card…" - advertisement for Sainsbury's Energy (EDF Energy Customers plc).
"Summer sizzlers" - promotes food for barbecues including kebabs and other meat products; recipes (chargrilled burgers with radish, pea and feta salad; teriyaki tuna with sesame broccoli and grilled lemon; zesty halibut parcels; berry jelly.
"Super food savers" - promotes Fosters lager, Wyke Farms Just Delicious Extra Mature Cheddar, Irwin's Rankin Selection Irish Brown Soda Bread, Sainsbury's So Organic courgettes, Ainsley Harriott World Kitchen Soups, and Kronenbourg 1664 lager.
"Great British burgers" - "Feed Your Family for a Fiver" recipe by Jamie Oliver for barbecued pork burgers; also promotes Sainsbury's new Freedom Food pork range with higher animal welfare standards [this recipe featured in a Sainsbury's television commercial 'Here Come The Girls' broadcast from 24th June 2009].

"New instore" - promotes various new products (including Sainsbury's ready-made Italian products; Be Good to Yourself sandwich and wrap; fish sushi); competition to win a Gastro BarbiBox; also invites customers to nominate staff for 'star' awards.
"Singly perfect" - promotes Sainsbury's Fresh Single Cream, with a special offer.
"Scarlet beauties" - about a scheme during the summer for farmers to deliver fresh strawberries to their local stores (51 stores taking part) within hours of being picked; recipe for Eton mess.
"Summer sensations" - promotes Fuller's Organic Honey Dew beer and Carlos III Solera Reserva brandy.
"Now in season" - promotes Sainsbury's Taste the Difference Jubilee Vine Tomatoes; recipe for stacked BLT salad.
"Pack up a picnic" - promotes Sainsbury's foods for picnics (such as salads, quiche) and picnicware.
"Berry yummy" - recipe for bursting berry muffins.
"Surf to WIN!!!" - advertisement for Calypso Aquajuice 67.
"Summer sipping" - promotes cocktails; recipes (watermelon daiquiri; lemonglass spash).
"A taste of summer" - promotes fruity cocktails and strawberries and cream.
"Summer loving" - promotes Kraft Philadelphia soft cheese; recipe for cheesecake raspberry ripple ice cream.
"Scoop of the day" - promotes Sainsbury's ice creams.
"Best for baby" - promotes baby products: SMA Progress follow-on milk; Johnson's Baby Soft Cream; Heinz Breakfast; Little Me Organics bath products; Cow & Gate sauces; Huggies baby wipes.
"Fresh flavours" - promotes summer salads including vegetables, ready-made salads and dressings.
"Delightfully unusual" - promotes Hendrick's Gin.
"Super beauty saves" - promotes toiletries: Listerine Total Care Sensitive mouthwash; Beautifully Delicious washing and bathing range; Nive Sun Children's Pocket Size lotion; PitRok deodorant; Phil Smith Be Gorgeous Super Straight haircare range; and Nivea Sun Invisible Protection Transparent Spray.
