The scheme involved schools collecting Schoolbags vouchers which were given to Sainsbury's customers who reused carrier bags when shopping. The schools could spend the vouchers on items of school equipment listed in this catalogue. A wide variety of items are included such as computers and software, science apparatus, sports equipment, art materials, and musical instruments.

For each product there is a description, a photograph and details of how many vouchers were required. Information on how the scheme worked is also included. The catalogue was valid up to 30 September 1996.
