"Media Coverage of Pedicab Launch", Jul 1998

Sustainability Publicity Corporate social responsibility

Document giving details of the media coverage of Pedicabs, and including copies of press cuttings relating to the Pedicabs. 'Pedicabs' are pedal-operated rickshaws, which provided a pollution-free means of transporting up to two customers and their shopping home. They were introduced as a trial at Sainsbury's Islington supermarket in 1998 and were operated by an independent company.
