Metal cylinder with a metal plunger at one end and an unscrewable metal needle at the other.
The name of the maker, 'DRON-WAL' has been inscribed on the cylinder and the plunger. It is held in a rectangular cardboard box which has a label attached to it containing the name of the product, ½ P[int] Brine Syringe'.
The syringe, which is unused, came from Basingstoke Depot and was used for injecting sides of bacon. According to an inscription on the cylinder, it was made in England.
