Depots

Contains a blank sheet of journey instructions into which the name of the driver and any instructions could be written.

Also contains a delivery envelope. The envelope appears to have accompanied the driver from a depot to the branch he was delivering to and was probably signed by a member of the branch staff to verify that the goods had been delivered.

Also includes a Shell UK agency card which entitled the holder to obtain supplies of motor spirit, DERV and lubricating oil from Shell agents. The card was registered to J Sainsbury Ltd.
