"Make your career at Sainsbury's Senior Retail Training Scheme" leaflet (SPEC & CENT version)

Leaflet promoting the Senior Retail Training Scheme which offered training to "young men aged 18 and over and provides for a properly planned career in the food trade". Those who were successful in this training and passed would be graded as Salesman or Butcher and could be later promoted into other roles. The flyer is marked as 'SPEC & CENT' - pay levels varied in different parts of the country and this code presumably indicated to staff the area where these pay rates applied to ensure it was correctly distributed. 'SPEC & CENT' perhaps refers to branches with a special rate of pay and Central London branches.
