Recruitment leaflet for jobs at Sainsbury's branches. It appears to be aimed at women (it refers to "promotion to Leading Saleswoman") and probably relates to counter service branches [it appears the Saleswoman job title was used in counter service branches, while self-service branches had Cashiers and Display Assistants]. A code 'CENT/SER' is printed on the leaflet - pay levels varied in different parts of the country and this code probably indicated to staff the area where these pay rates applied to ensure it was correctly distributed ['CENT' probably refers to central London branches and 'SER' probably refers to counter service branches].

Recruitment leaflet with details of pay and conditions. The leaflet has a code 'PROV AI/SER' (or A1/SER) which was probably used internally to indicate which branches the leaflet related to, as the pay rates varied in different parts of the country. 'PROV' probably means provincial branches (ie outside London) and 'SER' may relate to counter service branches (but this hasn't been confirmed).
