It is similar to SA/EMP/1/1/2/11 but this is a new version with increased pay rates and reference to the new five day week (42 hours) working hours. A 'stop press' notice is included on the front cover mentioning an increase in wage rates since printing. Includes information on working in a shop, meals, sport and social activities, wages, hours of work, and benefits. This version has the reference CENT 8 SPEC marked on the back cover, it includes the wage rates which were applicable in Central London branches and certain branches outside the London area.
