Internal correspondence

Contains photocopied letters between William Ernest Guest, Manager of the Watney Street branch during the Second World War, and Margaret Brown, a former secretary to Alan Sainsbury. The letters contain his reminscences about his time at Sainsbury's and his recollections of Alan Sainsbury. Also contains some letters from Alan Sainsbury as Margaret Brown sent the letters to him because she thought that he would find them interesting. There are also several letters to William Ernest Guest from Sainsbury's about Managers' remuneration.
