Staff social groups and events

Subfonds containing material relating to Sainsbury's staff social groups and associations.

Includes invitations, menu cards and associated papers and images from staff dances, parties, dinners, family days, fetes and carnivals, and from retirement functions. Also includes images from Miss JS competitions. Includes material from Sainsbury's Veterans Association, with images. Also includes material from Sainsbury's sporting and social groups, the Griffin Club, Sainsbury Staff Association (SSA), Stamford Players etc. This subfonds also includes some clothing, such as neck ties, caps and badges with insignia of groups.
