Newsletter of the Sainsbury Staff Association, later the Sainsbury's Social Association (SSA) for Sainsbury's staff who were members of the association. It was initially known as 'Association News' and changed to 'SSA News' from 21 November 1958.
It featured notices about forthcoming fixtures and events, and articles about fixtures and events that had taken place. The newsletter covers such activities as football, cricket, chess, dance and horticulture. In later years it also included information about special offers on leisure activities (eg theatre tickets) and holidays provided by other companies and organizations.
