Elsie Salmon correspondence

A copy of a letter (and other correspondence) from Sir Robert Sainsbury to Mr H. J Goshawk Elsie Salmon (nee Goshawk) has the same birthday as Lord Sainsbury. Her father Harold Goshawk, then Manager of Walthamstow, wrote to congratulate Mr R.J. on the arrival of his son. Mr R.J extended reciprocal congratulations and good wishes, and sent a silver backed hair brush on behalf of his son 'to the young lady who started her life on the same day he did.'
