(John Davan) Sainsbury, and Miss Celia Sainsbury. As part of Sainsbury's centenary celebration they were offering a voucher to centenarians who lived near a Sainsbury's branch. Through that offer Mrs Sainsbury wrote in to the company. She had lived near the original Drury Lane shop and her mother did some of her shopping there. The visit was featured in 'JS Journal' (staff magazine) July 1969 page 24 and 25.
