This photographs is one of those used in 'JS Journal' (staff magazine) December 1968 pages 2 to 6 for an article on the new branch which opened on 12th November 1968.
The precinct in which the branch was a part featured access for transport on a level below the shops. JS Journal explains that the picture shows "a general view of the area around the branch, with walkways at first floor level and open spaces around the shop front".
