The picture is part of a set of black and white images most of which are similar to or show the same subject as the colour images published in the book 'JS 100: The Story of Sainsbury's' edited by James Boswell (1969). This image is not included in the book but it follows on from SA/IMA/4/SO/7/1-15 showing the hostel (staff accommodation) at Ruislip branch and it seems likely that this picture was taken in the lounge of that hostel.
