Letter from S.T. Goldrup to J. Boswell recalling that 'Food for Thought' or 'Songs of Sainsbury' was written and illustrated in c.1926/1927 by the late Lady Sybil Grant under the alias 'Pin'. Goldrup explains that she was the elder daughter of the famous politician Roseberry and married Major General Charles Grant. M John Sainsbury met her at a dinner and she said that she subscribed to good causes by raising money through doggerel verse and illustrations. She was very eccentric, having pillar box red hair and always being enveloped in Grant tartan.
