'Home Foodstuffs At Sainsbury's' advert for exhibition, 1934. 'During recent years there has been increasing interest on the part of the shopping public in the source of production of the many commodities which furnish their tables and their larders, but in some districts the excellent foodstuffs actually produced in this country have not received the amount of publicity they deserve. A visit to Sainsbury's beautiful shop in Devonshire-road should do much to encourage the housewife to buy the best of everything that is British...This exhibition of home-produced foods will continue throughout next week'.
