"Chicken & Wine" television commercial

Television commercial (20 seconds) promoting special offers on Sainsbury’s Whole Fresh Chicken (59p per lb) and Sainsbury’s Hock wine (£1.99). Footage shows the products with a chicken being carved and wine being poured. An out-of-vision announcer promotes the offer and finishes with the endline “Good value is meat and drink to Sainsbury’s”.

The advertisement was part of the 1993 Winter Promotion and was shown from 9 January 1993 (see Special Bulletin 17/93).
