  • Television commercial (10 seconds) promoting a special offer on Sainsbury’s mushrooms as part of the 1988 Autumn Price Promotion. With footage of the product and voiceover "Sainsbury's fresh mushrooms, hand-picked and top quality pick them this week and they're down in price to 98p a pound". Part of a series of 'down in price' commercials promoting special offers. The commercial was due to be shown from 2nd to 6th October 1988 (as detailed in Special Bulletin Management Team 320/88) and there was a related press advertisement to support the campaign (see SA/MARK/ADV/1/1/2/1/31/16). A similar advertisement for Fresh Topside of Beef was also due to be shown on these dates.
