Television commercial (30 and 45 seconds versions) ending with "You can't beat Sainsbury's" and caption "Good food costs less at Sainsbury's". The commercial appears to have been named 'Good Food 2' (though it isn't clear whether this applies to just the 30 second version, or whether it also referred to the 45 second version).
The commercial features the following scenes:
1. tractor crossing a field
2. Sainsbury's lorry on road
3. a Sainsbury's store (appears to be Kingsgate Parade, Victoria, London)
4. in-store bakery
5. Sainsbury's buyer visiting a farmer to buy cauliflowers
6. older woman and man wearing flat-cap shopping 'that's the cauli and the custard creams'
7. wealthy woman and her chauffeur shopping 'that's the consommé and the aubergine'
8. displays of own-brand products - teas, butters etc
9. traffic wardens looking at shelf tickets in biscuit aisle
10. own-brand products - rices etc, and 'an occasional partridge in the poultry'
11. woman and child 'do you serve ducks?'
12. chauffeur 'Champagne, ma-am?')
13. man with flat-cap 'Shandy, mum?'
14. fresh fruit and vegetables
15. traffic wardens at checkout
There are two versions of the commercial: the full 45 second version and an edited 30 second version which omits scenes 9 to 11). On one copy of the 30 second version, the 'Good food costs less at Sainsbury's' caption is omitted.
