Television commercial (10 seconds) for Gerber Pride Peeled Plum Tomatoes (19p).

The advertisement is one of a series of 10 second advertisements broadcast in September to November 1990 to promote various special offers. The advertisements are all on the theme of customers being able to afford a little 'extra' when they shop at Sainsbury's, with actors performing a brief sketch and hand-drawn backdrops to give a cartoon-like appearance. In this sketch a diner in a restaurant is served with an enormous pizza which is full of tomatoes.

The advert ends with the slogan "Good Food Costs Less at Sainsbury's". The advertising agency reference is possibly AMV/SAPP087/010 but this has not been confirmed. The advertisement appears to be one from the Autumn 1990 promotion which was broadcast in the week commencing 5 November 1990 (see Special Bulletin 331/90).
