"Fridge" Indulgence ice cream television commercial
- Ref. No: SA/MARK/ADV/1/1/3/3/6
- Date: 1995
- Level: File
- Extent: 1 file
- Access: Open
The commercial shows a couple (played by Paris Jefferson and Robert Patterson) next to their freezer - which is full of different flavours of Indulgence ice cream. She grabs her partner by his shirt and in a passionate way asks for the ice cream but can't decide which flavour to have. Ends with the caption "Sainsbury's. Everyone's favourite ingredient.". The background music is a theme used in various 1990s Sainsbury's television commercials (though originally from a US TV series) entitled "Thirty Something".
There is also an alternative 40 second version of the commercial. This does not appear to be a finished commercial (the graphic at the end with "Sainsbury's Everyones Favourite Ingredient" caption does not appear to be correct), and it was perhaps an early version made during the editing process which was not actually used.
