Paws and Scout's Robbers television commercial

Television commercial (60 seconds) promoting Sainsbury's Paws Supreme and Scout's Supreme pet foods.

The commercial features a cat 'Paws' and a dog 'Scout' teaming up to catch two burglars in their owner's ('the Colonel' - played by John Ringham) home by tripping them up with tins of pet food. The burglars then fall in to the cellar in a slapstick sequence (a bit like in the film 'Home Alone') and the cat locks the door. A policeman comes to arrest the burglars and the Colonel feeds Scout and Paws.

The pet food is described as "Food fit for heroes" like on the barker cards (shelf edge labels - see SA/MARK/ADV/2/2/8/9 and SA/MARK/ADV/2/2/8/10). With "Sainsbury's: Everyone's favourite ingredient" slogan.
